Look, I’m a sprinter, always have been and probably always will be. Master Procrastinator, Chief Putter-Offer. My skills are A Class. It’s a gift.

Ahh, that sweet smell of a brand new year. Subtle hints of new year’s resolutions and mighty goals.

I brought in the New Year, fast asleep, ready to rise early and get stuck into 2018. With many goals in place for the year, there’s always that memory of the rush hour before Christmas where all the year’s good intentions get crammed in, followed by the inevitable break down of exhaustion.

All the best humans procrastinate; we put things off with the best of intentions, vowing to complete tasks ‘tomorrow’ or ‘soon’, except tomorrow and soon are never now.

I’ve been in business for close to a decade, and the amount of calls I get about lost DVDs and USBs is phenomenal. Backing up files can feel an onerous task to many, and at times the deferral can be devastating. Even as a photographer I forgot to back up a personal phone years ago, and wiped memories. We all know someone this has happened to; we shudder at the thought, brewing with empathy.

The single best way to remove the procrastination of photo printing is to have them printed with a professional. In fact, when planning the photography of your event, a printing plan should be part of the initial conversation.

Save hassle, plan ahead. Set up a photography gift registry, and have your friends and family gift you your memories.
