Gab is a trend setting wedding florist, trail blazing babe, has a gazillion followers on her instagram and knows how to cut through the shoulds to find out what is most meaningful to her clients; which she is friends with forever. All of them. Still. True story.

Gab from Nine Blooms and I recorded a yarn last month which I released into the webosphere. I text her two days later.

“I know it’s only been 2 days but can we please record it again? I’m different now.”

I did start to should all over myself, give myself a hard time for not doing this and not asking that but decided to just go with what felt right.

And Gab was like, “Yeah, I hate my hair, let’s totally redo it.”

Bless.

Gab is a trend setting wedding florist, trail blazing babe, has a gazillion followers on her instagram and knows how to cut through the shoulds to find out what is most meaningful to her clients; which she is friends with forever. All of them. Still. True story.

But don’t take it from me, Gab has seen all of the trends of wedding flowers since the magazine days, when trends would change once a year based on the timing of the publications.

When the instas and the pinterests boomed it provided an opportunity to be creative and let rip on something little more riskay and setting a trend almost became the end goal.

But there is still this huge emphasis on what we should be doing with every other part of special events and we agree and focusing on the shoulds blocks creativity.

Listen to Gab share what she thinks is going to be hot and upcoming and how to have the tenacity to do whatever makes you happy; especially when it comes to gift giving.
